space between noises, the
stopping before it comes again.
Like a vapor-lock of time needing a
release. Like chasing a thought just
to keep it escaping
again, gone again.

Poetry: Etched Time

Time seemed…to etch her into the darken shadows.

But her delicate white petals seem to stand out.

She kinda had that beauty that would light the darkest sky.

You could see her glow in the fragrance—left behind.

Poetry: So Strong and So Weak

…Withered from the pelting rain, it rises again to greet the sun. I found an old picture of big beautiful blossoms, spun a few effects to create this very soft, subtle digital art piece. And a Rictameter verse to accentuate the flow of poetry.

Just like flowers, we too can be so strong and so weak altogether.

I am a delicate flower, but so strong.

So strong.
But yet so weak,
She gave love, even in
the moments when she was falling
apart. Like a delicate white flower
withstanding a rain storm, and how
it rises to the sun
for warmth, she stands
so strong.

What is a Rictameter verse? this form of poetry—Rictameter Verse, uses 9 lines in the poem, and strict syllable count: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 with the first line repeating itself in the last line.

Free Verse: Skeletons of Truth

…Secrets are skeletons held in the passage walls of hearts. A free verse poetry shedding some light and a digital art piece for the eyes. Dam. I rhymed again!

Secrets are skeletons held in the passage walls of hearts, seeking light.

Skeletons.
They hide in the
backdrop of time.
And draw upon
dark shadows.
They’re only truths,
seeking the light.
I wonder if they will
reach for the big star
in the night sky.
Where maybe,
some answers might lie.

Oh, Wildflower!
How they dare to try to tame you.
How you fight off storms,
just to stand again and show
your flirty, colorful blossoms.
And when the sun has risen,
caressing its warmth around
your petals and stems,
you only look to the dragonfly,
who’s drawn to your beauty
and innocence instead.

Silent
moments I seek.
Like an open box; I
crawl within its emptiness and
take shelter. It seems to regenerate
this energy, growing life of its own. Then to see,
hear life again.

…Floating boats on a mirage of darkness. I saw this really cool, free public picture of leaves floating on water. Thought I would add an artsy effect for this nature picture. Hope you enjoy the digital art and its effectiveness in the words of this Tanka Verse.

Emptiness…is like
a dark pond. Toss a pebble
into its abyss,
plunk, and then silence returns
ripples and fading circles.

What is a Tanka Song or Verse? … A Tanka Song or Verse, uses 5 lines in the poem, and strict syllable count: 5, 7, 5, 7, 7, with using 31 syllable count. A Tanka poem is a Japanese poem which can also be known as a waka or uta.
