Going for a hike up top a hillside or through a forest. One could find answers in the trees. Leaves floating in the breeze sing of life, nature’s solace offers gifts. I find myself there quite often. I wait for the lyrics in the birds, song of the wind. It’s priceless. It doesn’t cost anything to soul search. An urban free verse poetry and digital art piece offering answers.

Embedded, centrifugal pieces
enthrall me

and I step,
carefully, breathlessly,
around, up and over.

Each further, each closer,
each answer…another question.

Cornerstones set, pulled apart of mind…of heart.

I, hiking further and further…
Atop a mountain recovering parts once lost.
Seeing blue, seeing myself new.

What is a Free Verse Poetry? Typically patterned by speech rather than meter, this form of poetry is very open to the author’s discretion and usually does not rhyme. Visual and sound effects are often employed.  It can have as many lines as the writer wishes.
