In this Rictameter Verse, “A Web-Spinning Vixen.”
Oh, the tapestry of life, the trap holes to fall. Getting around outer edges, to stand tall. Strength is the anchor that tethers mind, body, and soul. A spider spins a trap are we the victims, as such of this world. A rictameter verse poetry and a digital art piece to thought provoking.
Rictameter Verse Poetry: A Web-Spinning Vixen
Spun silk.
A tapestry
of threads…a vibration.
A web-spinning vixen awaits.
Insect prey. Song of the wind stirring a leaf.
A leaf falls on an auxiliary
spiral; sticky threads send
signals, no meal.
Spun silk.

Spiders get such a bad rap. They are quite beautiful and mesmerizing. At the same time, I rather admire them from afar or through captivating art like yours. Thanks, Linda.
